Known locally as lajok ocol seeds, these
smooth and shiny black seeds strung
on black cord make Ebony Strands a
simple, yet elegant necklace for everyday.

This unique necklace is created by
Wawoto Kacel, a cooperative of
disabled, widowed or HIV positive
individuals in Gulu.  Seeds are collected
from the surrounding bush, and artisans
themselves develop the beautiful
designs.

$16 each
